Roads are land transportation infrastructure that plays an important role in the transportation sector, especially for the balance of distribution of goods and services as well as people. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the flexible pavement thickness. using MDP 2018. The problem that can be identified is how to plan flexible pavement thickness with pavement design using MDP 2018. This research was conducted on the road in Lauran Village, South Tanimbar District, Tanimbar Islands Regency with an observed length of ± 3 km. By using the DCP tool and conducting an LHR survey for three days, there were 2205 vehicles, consisting of several groups/types of vehicles. The subgrade CBR value used in the pavement thickness planning obtained by using the DCP test was 7.6% and the design CBR 6.227%. Based on the results of the design analysis using the 2018 MDP method, the pavement thickness is known as follows: AC-WC = 40mm, AC-BC = 60mm, LPA Class A = 400mm. CESA5 traffic load on the Lauran village road section, South Tanimbar District, Tanimbar Islands Regency for a design life of 20 years 104,745.05References
