Studi Kelayakan Fasilitas Dan Kinerja Operasional Pelabuhan Galala Kecamatan Sirimau Kota Ambon

Abstract

Galala Port, Sirimau District, Ambon City is one of the ports with a crossing track that connects Ambon City and Buru Island. Galala Port was built in 1992 with a port area of 4,226 m2, a dock capacity of 1000 – 1500 GT, and a type of loading and unloading that is plesengan. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the stacking field facilities (loading and unloading) at the port at Galala Port and to evaluate loading and unloading operational services at Galala Port from 2017-2021. This research was conducted by collecting primary data in the form of port facility data, field data, and documentation. Meanwhile, secondary data taken directly at Galala Port is in the form of port performance data, ship visit data, and cargo unloading data. Evaluation of the feasibility study of facilities and operational performance of Galala Port was carried out by analyzing existing port facilities and also in the analysis of port operational services used the calculation of the Arrive Rate Factor. Waiting Time Factor. Approach Time. Service Time (ST) and Turn Round Time (TRT) Factors. An analysis of the utility service of the dock and the level of use of the pier (Berth Occupancy Rate) was also carried out. The results of the analysis show that the port facilities that serve ship visits and loading and unloading activities of Galala Port are sufficient to meet the criteria of the ideal Port Facility provisions. With the level of utility of port facilities, especially docks, it shows that the average value of berth Occupancy Ratio (BOR) docks at Galala Port in 2017-2021 is 49%. Based on the presentation of the standard level of use of docks (BOR) set in the decision of the Director General of the Sea No: UM.002/38/18/DJPL-11 (41% - 60% Good) then the presentation of the level of mooring use at ports in 5 years, namely 49% is categorized as good. Based on the results of the analysis of the demand for the movement of goods (loading and unloading) at Galala Port for 2017 - 2021 is as follows 2017 = 227,933 tons (unloading 133,967 tons, loading 93,964 tons); 2018 = 209,889 tons (unloading 117,137 tons, loading 92,752 tons); 2019 = 201,740 tons (bonglar 121,108 tons, load 80,632 tons); 2020 = 200,211 tons (unloading 132,684 tons, loading 667,527 tons); 2021 = 224,108 tons (unloading 138,468, loading 85,640 tons)
