Abstract

Building construction projects are complex activities that require good time management in order to be completed according to plan. The Ambon City Scout Office Building Construction is located at Jalan R.A. Kartini No. 28, Karang Panjang, Ambon City, with a contract value of Rp 5,684,000,000 and planned duration of 205 calender days. During implementation, the project experienced a 55-day delay. This study aims to review the project implementation time using the Network Planning method to determine the critical path and factors causing work delays.The research method employed is a quantitative descriptive approach with a case study design. The data used includes primary data in the form of project implementation schedules and secondary data in the form of contract documents and work progress reports. The analysis was conducted by compiling the project work network, determining the critical path, and evaluating the actual implementation time against the plan. The results of the analysis show that there were several tasks on the critical path that directly contributed to the project delay. The application of the Network Planning method can assist in project time control and serve as a basis for improving implementation planning in similar projects in the future.
