Analisa Cost Overruns pada Beberapa Proyek Konstruksi di Kota Ambon

Abstract

Construction project is a process where plans and specifications of the planner converted into the physical structure, the greater a project means the more complex mechanism which means the more problems faced, because if not properly handled it will result in the impact of one of the cost overruns.

This study aims to know the factors cause of the cost overruns and to minimize the factors cause of the cost overruns on construction projects in the city Ambon. research conducted through the spread of questionnaires, with the goal of respondents is director, manejer project, site engineer, supervisory field with sub field work of the building, before the questionnaire was used to measure the variable the first tested the validity and reliability of using SPSS.

The results showed, factors cause of the cost overruns construction projects in accordance with the rating that is, the delay schedule for the influence of the weather (8,94%), data and information project incomplete (8,82%), the price increases material (8,68%), the high wage labor (8,68%). to minimize the factors cause of the cost overruns above then it must be completed prior to the main structure and the roof so that the work in the building can be done although weather conditions rain, surveying the early before the signature of the contract to the data and information project can know more clearly, making stock meterial and mengorder stuff before going price increases material, emphasizing wage labor but not reduce the quality of any workers.
