Analisis Volume Tampungan Sedimen Pada Bangunan Sabo Dam Way Sakula Di Negeri Hatu Kecamatan Leihitu Barat Maluku Tengah

Abstract


Sedimentation causes siltation in the river which can lead to flooding during the rainy season and drought during the dry season, this occurs on the Way Sakula river in Hatu Country, West Leihitu District, Maluku Regency, Ambon Island. Where the problem that occurs is the Sabo Dam building which is full of sediment piles and this greatly affects the condition of the river and the area around the Way Sakula river. Where around the Way Sakula river there are vital state objects such as Ambon's Patimura Airport, National Road and surrounding community settlements and there are also several AMP (Asphalt Mixing Plants) around the Way Sakula river. Way Sakula watershed has a river length of 9.82 Km and an area of 17.00 Km2 and an upstream peak elevation of ± 256.00. This research begins with a survey at the research site, literature study, then measuring the river discharge, existing buildings and topography around the sabo building and taking water and sediment samples. From these data, an analysis was carried out to answer the objectives of this study. That is the full time of the Sabo dam and Way Sakula reservoirs. (11.7 years, for Q normal) (1.4 years, for Q2) (1.3 years, for Q5) (1.2 years, for Q10) and (1.1 years, for Q25). . The Sabo Dam Way Sakula capacity can accommodate 151,5800 m3 of sediment. As well as a form of dealing with sediment problems, dredging is carried out every 5 years to maximize the function of the building
