Water is one of the natural resources that are useful for human life, both to meet the needs of daily life and for other purposes such as agriculture and industry. In this study, an analysis of rainfall was carried out in Namasina District, Central Maluku Regency, Masohi City. This study aims to determine the number of residents in the research location, analyze the flow of rainwater that can be accommodated and stored for the next 3 months, and analyze the capacity provided to meet the needs of people who are ready to face the dry season. In this study, the author will estimate the volume of rainwater that can be accommodated on the roof of each house and compare it with the water needs of the community in facing the dry season. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the population of Amahai Village for the 11 Rukun Tetangga (RT) is 3551 people, with an average of 4 people in 1 family head (KK). The discharge that is relied upon to meet the population's water needs during the dry season is 3.00 m3. Meanwhile, the need for water that must be available in the face of the number of days that there is no rain in a month is 17 days at 4.8 m3. Thus the size of the rainwater reservoir to meet the water needs of 1 household in one month is 1.5 m long, 1.5 m wide and 2 meters highReferences
