Abstract

In carrying out the construction of settlements and other infrastructure, the people of Wakpapapi Village who live in MBD often use Fine Aggregate (sand) and Coarse Aggregate (gravel) materials on the Ouarry Beach of Wakpapapi Village as building construction materials for other infrastructure development. This study aims to analyze the results of testing the characteristics of a mixture of sand and gravel materials, analyze the results of Mix Design with a concrete quality of 22.5 MPa, and analyze the results of testing the compressive strength of concrete with Dry Curing and Water Curing systems. The process of collecting data taken directly from the Beach Quarry of Wakpapapi Village. Therefore, researchers tested the characteristics of aggregates, Mix Design of concrete using SNI 03-2834-2000, ACI E1-07 and testing the compressive strength of concrete with Dry Curing and Water Curing conditions. The results of the research on the characteristics of fine aggregates obtained Volume Weight 1.04 gr/cm3, SSD density 2.39, Water Absorption 3.31% Water Content 4.07%, Filter Analysis 2.14, Sludge Content 3.00% and organic content light yellow, from the test data the volume weight value does not meet the test standard while the SSD density meets the fine aggregate characteristic standard. For coarse aggregate, the volume weight is 1.23 gr/cm3, the specific gravity of SSD is 2.53, the water absorption is 2.35%, the water content is 3.55%, the sieve analysis is 6.77, the mud content is 0.90%, from the value test data. specific gravity meets the standard of testing the characteristics of coarse aggregate. Mix Design for concrete compressive strength f'c 22.5 MPa: Cement 445.70 kg, Sand 679.66 kg, Pebbles 1039.78 kg, Water 218.88 Kg. Comparison of the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 28 days for normal concrete using Water Curing treatment 23.69 MPa, concrete with Dry Curing treatment 22.63 MPa
