Pengembangan Sumber Daya Air Melalui Sistem Biopori Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Konservasi Air Tanah (Studi Kasus : Dusun Airlouw Lapang, RT 004 Kecamatan Nusaniwe, Kota Ambon)

Abstract


Population growth has an influence on the increasing use and utilization of water that is used excessively or in other words the use of inefficient water. The limited availability of water sources is also one of the problems experienced by residents of airlouw lapang hamlet RT 004. The community's desire to utilize and make groundwater as an alternative source of water was hindered due to limited groundwater. The recent rainy season in Airlouw Hamlet has caused inundation, the lack of water catchment areas makes the puddles unable to be infiltrated properly. Therefore, in this study, the Eco-Drainage system was applied through the manufacture of biopore infiltration at the research site to overcome these problems. The purpose of this study is to be able to calculate the discharge of incoming water in one biopore hole, and find out how many biopore infiltration holes can be made in the area studied. The research method used is observation and literature review. Obervation is carried out directly at the location, then the data from the research results at the location are adjusted and carried out by referring to literature sources related to the research carried out. Based on calculations and analysis that have been carried out on testing the infiltration rate on one biopore infiltration hole for 2 hours, a discharge of incoming water in the biopore infiltration hole was obtained as much as 0.000086 m3/second. From the results of the incoming water discharge, it can be determined the number of biopore infiltration holes that can be made in a 2-year re-period of 29 biopores, 5 years as many as 41 biopores, and 10 years as many as 48 biopores on a soil area of 182 m2
