Pengaruh Pergerakan Angkutan Umum Terhadap Kinerja Lalu Lintas (Studi Kasus : Jalan Sam Ratulangi- Kota Ambon)

Abstract


The Sam Ratulangi road section, the level of traffic flow has increased quite drastically, this increase has resulted in traffic volume exceeding capacity, insufficient parking space, and inappropriate public transport stops. Data collection techniques are divided into 2, namely primary data including road geometric data, vehicle volume, and side barriers. This data is used to determine conditions in the field. Secondary data includes location maps and population numbers. The analysis technique used in this paper refers to the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). The results showed that the condition of the side friction, due to the influence of the movement of public transport on traffic performance on the Sam Ratulangi road, was moderate (M). The value of degree of saturation (DS) for Monday at 15.00 - 16.00 is 0.53, for Wednesday at 12.00 - 13.00 is 0.49, and for Friday at 13.00 - 14.00 is 0.50. From the value of the degree of saturation it can be shown that the traffic conditions on Jalan Sam Ratulangi are low with a range of <0.6
