Abstract

Given the importance of the role of the road, the condition of the pavement must always be in good condition to support the load of the vehicle on it. There are now methods used to assess road damage conditions. One of them is the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method and the Dirgolaksono and Mochtar method. The objectives to be achieved in writing this thesis are to find out whether there is a comparison of the value of road damage conditions and the classification of the level of road damage and also to determine priorities for handling road damage repairs from the two methods. Analysis of the data used to determine the value of the condition and the classification of the level of damage from the two methods was obtained from the results of field research with primary data, namely the results of measuring road damage.  When viewed from the damage conditions of each method, the value of pavement conditions is obtained, the PCI method is 45.45 and the D&M method is 21.1 which are in the same relative category, there are differences in the location of the priority for handling repairs. It can be seen that in the PCI method there are several segments that have varying handling priorities. Compared with the D&M method, the priority of handling is seen from the value of the pavement condition which only requires light maintenance.
