Studi Karakteristik Marshall Dengan Menggunakan Material Lokal Desa Etty

Material from the river etty has not been widely known by the general public and is still very poorly used by the community and is only used by the people of etty village as local need such as residential building materials and the construction of etty village road. Though a review that the stock of material in etty river can be used for a needs in large quantities. This research aims to determine the characteristics of Marshall using AC 60/70 concrete asphalt binder using local material Etty village. In term of Marshall stability value, density, flow, void in mix, void in mineral aggregate and void filled bitumen. This research using a hot mix by Marshall method consisting of 6 variants, each of 5%, 5,5%, 6%, 6,5%, 7%, 7,5% with 2 sample specimens. Marshall characteristics test result with mean values Marshall stability 1243,69 kg, density 2,27%, flow 5,35 mm, void in mix 5,96%, void in mieral aggregate 15,77% and void filled bitumen 79,89%. Optimum asphalt content to be used as concrete asphalt mixture using pertamina asphalt and etty village aggregate is optimum asphalt content of 6,5%.
