Abstrak

To connect the separate road due to the stretching river, a bridge was built as a link. An important part of the bridge is the foundation. Wai Hina Bridge is located between the village of Haya and the village of Tehoru, district of Tehoru - Section of Jalan Haya-Tehoru. In the study, the carrying capacity of the soil will be calculated and re-planning the foundation using a bore pile foundation and calculating the lateral load of the soil against the abutment and pile and comparing the use of the efficiency of the number of piles between the pile and the bore pile. Calculation of the carrying capacity of the land using the Terzaghi method. Calculation of pole end resistance using the O'neil and Reese methods. Calculation of mast efficiency using the Converse-Labarre method. Calculation of the decrease in single piles and pile groups using the Empirical Vesic method. To calculate the lateral bearing capacity of the pole using the Broms method. At Wai Hina Bridge the foundation used is the bore pile foundation with a length of 20 m. In the abutment, a diameter of 0,50 m is used, with 19 poles. The carrying capacity of the pile group (Qg) is 46,044.59 kN and it is safe from the overloaded structure (P) of 15,500.61 kN. The horizontal force acting on the masthead (Hs) is 61,93 kN. The result of shear moment calculation is 8,30 > 1,5 and bolster moment 10,17 > 1,5. The pier diameter is used at the pier which is 0,70 m with 15 poles. The carrying capacity of the land (qu) is 18,077 kN / m². The carrying capacity of the pile group (Qg) is 55,953.19 kN and it is safe from the overloading structure (P) of 21,385.70 kN. The horizontal force acting on the masthead (Hs) is 100,62 kN. In terms of the amount of use of the bore, the pile is more efficient than the pile.
