Hatu Village is one of the villages in West Leihitu Sub-district which has suffered serious beach damage due to tidal waves because it is directly facing the open sea. This resulted in severe damage to the coastal protection structures so that they needed to be reviewed and analyzed in order to prevent such damage. The data collection and analysis method used in this research is a survey at the research site, by measuring directly the tides, and processing the data obtained from the BMKG, as well as processing the data using the CERC method to analyze shoreline changes and transport. sediments, and then determine the appropriate alternative coastal protection structures . Based on a thorough analysis and calculation on the coast of Hatu Village, West Leihitu sub-district, Central Maluku, namely the south direction is the most dominant direction with wave height (Hs) for the south direction is 3.62 m with time (Ts) 10.63 seconds with Refraction Wave Height ( H'O) of 1.82 m High Wave Break (Hb) 2.493 m, Wavelength (Lb) 0.555 m, and Depth of Breaking Wave (db) 3.561 m, Breaking Wave Celerity (cb) 5.911m The biggest erosion is 3.87m and the largest accretion is 4.80m. From the analysis above, the appropriate coastal protection building for the beach of Hatu Village is a revetment with a combination of foot protectors in the form of concrete or stone cubesReferences
