Pengaruh Terapi Diet Pada Pasien Kanker Payudara: Scoping Review

Abstract
In 2020, the number of breast cancer cases in Indonesia reached 68,858 cases in which this is 16.6% of the total number new cancer cases found. According to the Health Ministry, Indonesian tends to choose Complementary Alternative Medicine such as Diet Therapy. Therefore, this study aims to determine the types of Diet Therapy used and their impacts on breast cancer patients. The research method utilized is a scoping review in which researcher chose four databases namely science Science Direct, Pubmed, Proquest, and Google Scholar from 2017-2022. The type of research sought is a randomized controlled trial and clinical trial. This study concluded that the diet therapy used by breast cancer patients was in the form of low-fat diet, fasting therapy, ketogenic diet, symbiotic therapy, and green tea leaf extract therapy. Further, Diet therapy was found to improved body composition, quality of life, indicators of metabolic syndrome, and related also to lower number of mortality as well as reducing complaints of side effects as a result of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Furthermore, more researches needs to be done in order to ensure the effectivity of these diet therapy among breast cancer patients.

Pada tahun 2020, jumlah kasus kanker payudara di Indonesia mencapai 68.858 kasus dimana ini merupakan 16,6% dari jumlah kasus baru kanker yang ditemukan. Dengan bertambahnya kasus kanker payudara ditemukan juga bahwa masyarakat Indonesia memiliki pilihan untuk menggunakan Pengobatan Komplementari Alternatif seperti Terapi Diet. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis Terapi Diet dan pengarunya terhadap pasien kanker payudara. Metode penelitian yang diunakan adalah scoping review dimana penulis memilih empat database yaitu Science direct, Pubmed, Proquest, dan Google scholar dari tahun 2017-2022. Jenis penelitian yang dicari adalah randomized controlled trial dan clinical trial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terapi Diet yang diberikan pada pasien kanker payudara adalah dalam bentuk Diet rendah lemak, Terapi puasa, diet ketogenic, terapi sinbiotik, dan terapi ekstrak daun teh hijau. Pemberian Terapi Diet pada pasien kanker payudara dapat meningkatkan komposisi tubuh, kualitas hidup, indikator sindrom metabolic, serta menurungkan angka kematian, dan juga keluhan efek samping pada saat pasien kanker payudara sedang menjalani kemoterapi dan radioterapi. Di sisi lain, penelitian lebih jauh harus dilakukan untuk memperkuat bukti ilmiah tentang efektivitas Terapi Diet pada pasien kanker payudara
