ABSTRACT

The research aimed to investigate to what extent the impact of the working capital unit, business duration, business opening hour on the small scale business income, the small scale business income difference based on the government's incentive and business location. The research was carried out In Sorong City. Data were collected by using a filed approach. The data were analysed by the multiple regression method. Of the population as many as 883 small scale business units, 100 business units were selected as the samples. The samples were taken by the simple random sampling technique. The research result indicates that the working capital, business duration, government’s incentive, and business location have the significant impact on the small scale business income, whereas the business opening hour does not have the significant effect on the small scale business income. There is the small scale business income difference based on the government's incentive and business location. The determination coefficiency (R2) as much as 0.742 indicates that the working capital variation, business duration, business opening hour, government's incentive, and business location can justify the income variation as much as 742%, whereas the rest 25,8% is caused by the other variables out of the models.
