PENGARUH GAYA KEMIMPINAN TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA KANTOR PUSAT UNIVERSITAS KRISTEN INDONESIA MALUKU DI AMBON
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study investigates the influence of leadership style on employee performance at the central office of Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku in Ambon. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected via research and questionnaires with Likert scale measurements, involving 64 respondents. Data analysis techniques included correlation coefficient testing, determination coefficient testing, and regression equations. The results revealed a correlation coefficient of 0.874, indicating a very strong relationship between leadership style and employee performance. Additionally, the determination coefficient was 91.1%, implying that leadership style accounted for 91.1% of employee performance, with the remaining 8.9% influenced by other factors. A simple regression calculation yielded the equation Y = 1.596 + 0.520X, demonstrating that in the absence of leadership style, employee performance is valued at 1.596, and every unit increase or decrease in leadership style corresponds to a 0.520 change in employee performance.
