ANALISIS STUDI KELAYAKAN POTENSI RUMPUT LAUT DAN PELUANG INVESTASI DI PROVINSI MALUKU

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of research is to determine the potential and feasibility of seaweed cultivation in the province of Moluccas by taking samples of the three districts. The sampling method is done by using purposive sampling, ie sampling is determined by consideration of the properties of such population characteristics and potential of the district and the location of the fishing seaweed farmers. The results showed that, based on the analysis of investment criteria by using the required rate of return of 22%, a positive NPV investment means that seaweed farming is feasible, the results of the calculation of IRR is greater than the required profit, this means that the business is feasible while the Profitability Index greater than 1 means that the total investment can be offset by total Present Value of Cash Flow. Which means that this business is feasible.
