ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI TINGKAT KEMISKINAN ABSOLUT NELAYAN DI DESA LATUHALAT KOTA AMBON

Abstract

Abstract: Proverty is a state of inability to meet the minum demands of life, particularly in terms of consumption and icome. The substance of this research study is to analyze the factors that influence the absolute poverty level of fishermen in the village of Latuhalat, Ambon City. The objectives of this study are: (1) Analyzing the effect of capital ownership on the absolute poverty level of fishermen in Latuhalat village. (2) Analyzing the effect of dependents on the absolute poverty level of fishermen in Latuhalat village. (3) Analyzing the effect of education level on the absolute poverty level of fishermen in Latuhalat village. In this study the variables to be studied consisted of independent variables, namely capital ownership, dependents and education level, while the dependent variable namely absolute poverty. The research method used in this research is explanatory survey. The population in this study is the entire community in the village of Latuhalat of 10,608 inhabitants. While the sample in this study is around 30-200 people. There are three operational definitions namely capital ownership, family dependents and education level. Data analysis techniques used in this study were the validity and reliability tests. Research results the factors that cause poverty in households in Latuhalat Village are (1) Capital ownership that is difficult to obtain, (2) The burden on family dependents is very much due to the income earned is very minimal, (3) the weak level of education experienced by the head of the family at the location of the study also affects the conditions of household poverty
