Seram island is one of the major islands in the Maluku archipelago, with a fairly rapid rate of development both in terms of infrastructure and other supporting facilities, given that the Seram island is rich in agricultural products, therefore it is necessary for the construction of a network of roadways to connect every region in the Seram island, in which the process of development are geometric planning process and road pavement thickness planning, to determine the physical shape of a road segment as well as the supporting factors that exist on the highway do not forget to also consider the safety, security and comfort factor.
This research aims to Plan a road Geometric adapted to environmental conditions and can ensure the safety, security and comfort of road users. Also calculate and design the flexible pavement thickness using the method of component analysis.
The results of data analysis and planning process on the Masiwang - Airnanang segment adjusted to the existing contours, it can be obtained 10 curve in the horizontal alignment plan is divided into 5 curve SCS respectively: curve I (Rc = 200m, V = 60Km/h), curve V (Rc = 150m, V = 60Km/h), curve VIII (Rc = 200m, V = 60Km/h), curve IX (Rc = 300m, V = 60Km/h), curve X (Rc = 200m, V = 60Km/h), 4 curve SS each: curve II (Rc = 40m, V = 30Km/h), curve III (Rc = 100m, V = 30Km/h), curve IV (Rc = 200m, V = 60Km/h), curve VI (Rc = 30m, V = 30Km/h), And 1 curve FC that is curve VII (Rc = 800m, V = 60Km/h). As well as 12 transverse arches (6 convex and 6 concave) on the vertical alignment plan, also with the volume of cut and fill is 35.103,9m3 57.996,75m3. And the pavement thickness planning (analisa komponen method) gained 7.5 cm surface layer, base layer 20cm, 29cm of sub base layer.References
