An intersection is a part of a road section where flows from different directions or directions meet. That is why at the intersection there is a conflict between currents of opposite majors and cutting each other. One of the intersections that experienced problems was the unsignaled intersection of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Kebun Clove and Jalan Tanah Rata which is a connecting road from within the city to outside the city and vice versa. to make it easier for the author to analyze the performance of intersections using the MKJI 1997 method. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of unsignaled intersections with median use and without median use. In this research, a review was first carried out at the location of the study and then collected data on road geometry, environmental conditions, population, and traffic volume which were reviewed for three days (two working days and one day off), then analyzed the intersection capacity, degree of saturation, delays, and queue opportunities according to the 1997 MKJI guidelines. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the performance at the intersection without a signal meeting Jl Jenderal Sudirman, Jl Kebun Clove and Jl Tanah Rata using the road median was Total Traffic flow volume (Qtot) at peak hours of 5783 junior high school / hour, The actual intersection capacity was 6997 junior high school / hour, Saturation degree (DS) was 0.82 where according to the 1997 MKJI guidebook the saturation degree value set was 0.85 thus the use of the median delay intersection was 13.918 seconds/junior high. Based on the delay value of the intersection service level entry into service level D, the chance of queuing is between 27.639% to 54.737%.References
