Evaluasi jumlah Armada Angkutan Umum di Kota Ambon (Study Kasus :Angkutan Umum Trayek Batu Merah Dalam)

According to vehicle data by Ambon City Transportation Department in 2015, passenger cars of  Batu Merah Dalam route with 24 route permits and this route has only one terminal which is a mobile terminal. In the preliminary survey found the trip generation of this route is quite high because the waiting time at Batu Merah terminal ranges from 1-4 minutes but still looks queue of cars. Therefore, it is necessary to assess whether the number of passenger cars on the route of Batu Merah Dalam at this time is appropriate to meet the needs of route users and meet the point of service. The data collected in the form of primary data is the data of the number of passengers, the travel time of the vehicle, the circulation time of the vehicle, the stop time of the vehicle in the terminal, the time between (Headway), and secondary data ie vehicle data obtained from the relevant agencies. Data analysis is done by entering survey data into MS Exelding program with format which is in accordance with technical guidance of public transportation in urban area in fixed and regular route (2002). From the observation found that the number of vehicles operating on the route of Batu Merah Dalam amounted to 40 units.The result of analysis shows that the biggest public transportation route of Batu Merah Dalam is 24 units during the busy period of noon (12.00-13.00), and fulfill the requirement of fleet number and service point with value N = 22 units.
