Perbandingan Kuat Tekan Beton Dengan Menggunakan Material Dari Sungai Waihatu Dan Pantai Desa Hattu

Coastal materials are rarely used as building materials because salt content can have an impact on damage to buildings, but in Ambon coastal materials is often used as building materials.This researchhas done to to know the difference of characteristic from Waihatu River and Hatu Beach, and to know mix design and compressive strength ratio between those materials.The method used iscollection of experimental data with mix design referring to SNI 03-2834-2000, with quality plad of concrete is K-250 Kg/cm2.The results of the type of fine aggregate Waihatu River showed: Organic Content=No1, FMG=3.61%, SGSSD=2.49, WC=8.02%, SC=0.55%, and for coarse aggregates FMG =7.24%, SGSSD=1.39, WC= 4.04%, SC=0.10%. fine aggregate Hatu coastal showed: Organic Content=No3, FMG =3.32%, SGSSD=2.51, WC=6.10%, SC=0.15%. and for coarse aggregates FMG =7.08%, SGSSD=1.38, WC=4.75%, SC=0.85%. Mix Design concrete quality plan K-250Kg / m2, for river material obtained: Cement = 402Kg, Water = 168Ltr, Sand = 668Kg, coarse aggregates ½ = 431Kg, coarse aggregates ⅔ = 431Kg, for coastal material obtained: Cement = 402Kg, Water = 163Ltr, Sand = 675Kg, coarse aggregates ½ = 516Kg, coarse aggregates ⅔ = 344Kg. Results of concrete compressive strength for river materials = 345.56Kg / cm2, and for coastal materials = 307.29Kg / cm2, or concrete compressive strength for river materials 12.45% higher than coastal materials.
