Kuako Beach is located in Tanjung Kuako Village, Amahai District, Central Maluku Regency, is one of the beaches that often experiences wave attacks, causing problems on the coastline which have an impact on existing tourist facilities, namely settlements and agricultural land. This study aims to determine the height of the waves on the Kuako beach and plan coastal protection structures, to analyze changes in shoreline at the Kuako coast, to analyze changes in shoreline calculated using the Komar method. Through formulaic approaches that use the EXCEL software program to analyze shoreline changes and also manage wind data. Calculating the dimensions of the coastal protection building, Calculating the required protective building requirements, and rolling and shear stability. From the results of the analysis and calculations in this study, the largest breaking wave height (Hb) is 2.484 m, wavelength (Lb) is 10,819 m, the depth of the breaking wave (db) is 2,782 m and the breaking wave celerity (cb) is 3,111 m in the direction dominant wind (South). Changes in the coastline in a 10 year period for the south direction of 1.67 m on the 28th layer which resulted in erosion and 1.41m on the 29th layer which resulted in accretion. The revetment was built at an elevation of ± 0.02 m where based on data analysis it means that the waves that occurred were broken waves so that the dimensions of the building were 4.6 m high, 1 m wide, and 2 m wide at the bottom. The revetment that was built consists of 3 layers using crushed stone as the main materialReferences
