Analisis Prediksi Kinerja Simpang Bersinyal Dalam Kondisi Eksisting Dan 5 Tahun Kedepan Pada Ruas Jalan Rijali Untuk Mendapatkan Solusi Manajemen Lalu Lintas Yang Optimal

On Rijali street, Sirimau sub-district, Ambon city, where the road is a connecting road between Ambon city and Ambon city center, along the Rijali road, there are several community activities centers such as schools, offices, places of worship, supermarkets, etc., so access to the road is increasing. The purpose of this study is to find out the magnitude of two-way saturation currents and to conduct alternative traffic management solutions for saturation flow that occurs. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting primary data and secondary data, namely primary data, namely by field observations, where the research is done directly in the field to obtain traffic volume of data traffic signals while secondary data by knowing the data of Ambon city population from related agencies. Based on the calculation results of the saturation degree value of DS in the existing condition, the highest is at the value of 0, 878, while based on the highest delay value is 23.54 which results in Level of Service or traffic performance of this intersection is at the value level C. Performance of traffic results the prediction for the next 5 years (Year 2023) shows a very severe congestion in the peak hours of morning, afternoon and evening, which results in a saturation degree of DS = 329.35 with Level of Service (LOS) F. The right traffic management solution is to do an alternative calculation by changing the movement phase from 2 phases to 3 phases and changing the green cycle time from 30 seconds to 50 seconds on the east approach while the green time cycle stays 15 seconds at the west and south approach, so that the degree of saturation is especially at the east approach ≤ 0.85.
