Abstrak

The foundation is an important part of the building that serves to deliver the loads that work on the upper structure to the hard soil layer. Especially for bridges use deep foundation types. On the bridge wai aleo II will be calculated the carrying capacity of the soil and re-plan the foundation by using a bored pile foundation.

Characteristics of soil types on bridge wai aleo II is sandy soil or granular soil. For that in calculation of land carrying capacity using Terzaghi method. Calculation of pole prisoners using O'neil and Reese methods. Calculation of pole efficiency using Converse-Labarre method. Calculation of single pole and pole decrement using Vesic empirical method. To calculate the lateral bearing capacity of the pole using the Broms method.

For Wai aleo II bridge used foundation with diameter 0,45 m and length of pole for abutment HB-1 is 12 m and abutment HB-2 is 9 m. The result of land carrying capacity planning (qu) to abutment HB-1 is 9,077,59 kN / m², and on abutment HB-2 equal to 6,834,04 kN / m2. The number of poles on abutment HB-1 as much 21 and the support capacity of pole group (Qg) of 32,740,302 kN and safe to the weight of the structure above it (P) of 8,201,85 kN, on abutment HB-2 number of pole 24 fruit and carrying capacity The pole group (Qg) of 43,316.42 kN and safe against the weight of the structure above it (P) of 8,958.30 kN.
