To find out the structural response caused by earthquake can be use static analysis equivalent, analysis varied response spectrum and time history analysis. The purpose of this paper is to compare the calculation result between static equivalent analysis method and the method of time history analysis on the respons of regular structure and irregular angle in the earthquake load.
Data collection method used is literature study method which earthquake load for Time history analysis taken from el-centro earthquake recording. The calculation process uses SAP2000 V.18 software.
The result of the research shows that structural analysis with time history method is more accurate than using equivalent static analysis. The maximum story drift ratio of static equivalent methods on the 15% angle to X and Y directions are 2.334% and 7.623%. For time history method maximum value are 1.008% and 0.314%. Static analysis equivalent on the 80% angle to X and Y direction are 4,917% and 11,948% and for time history method are 1,189% and 0,777%. The maximum displacement value of the static equivalent method on the 15% angle to the X and Y directions are 95.685 mm and 312,347 mm and for the time history method are 40.427 mm and 12.533 mm while for the equivalent static method on the 80% the angle has maximum value are 176,428 mm and 505,276 mm, and the time history method has maximum value are 44.238 mm and 30.74 mm. Using the equivalent static analysis on the 15% angle, the bending moment maximum values are 194.878.07 kgm and column 104.871,48 kgm, for 80% angle are 312,465.55 kgm and 178.821,81 kgm. Time history analysis on the 15% angle , the bending moment maximum values are 24,568,15 kgm, and column 46.655,43 kgm, on the 80% angle are 31.060,5 kgm and 57.398,87 kgm.Referensi
