Abstrak

This research was conducted at Kuako Beach which is one of the tourist attractions in Central Maluku Regency. Kuako Beach is located in Amahai District, Central Maluku Regency with a distance of ± 5 Km from the city center. This study aims to identify the potential of the Kuako Beach Tourism Object Area based on its attractiveness and also explain about how the needs for facilities and infrastructure in the Kuako Beach Tourism Object Area. In an effort to achieve the objectives of this research, a descriptive method is used, namely the analysis of the potential of tourist attraction and then planning the master plan of the Kuako Beach Tourism Object area according to its physical characteristics and attractiveness. Based on the results of the analysis carried out in this study shows that the area of Kuako beach tourism objects is very supportive / appropriate to be improved / developed its potential as a tourist area, especially in terms of its appeal. Local governments also make policies regarding the development of this area so that it can be a strong reference and guide and influence the development of this region.
