Salobar Beach, located in Soahuku State, Amahai District, Central Maluku Regency, is one of the beaches with the most obvious damage due to changes in coastline. There are conditions where the land near the coast turns into a cliff due to erosion and this condition leads to landslides especially when it rains. In fact, these conditions have a bad impact on public facilities owned by the community. This study aims to analyze the height, length and depth of the breaking waves, the amount of shoreline change that occurs and what alternatives are appropriate for the beach. This research begins with a survey of the research location, literature study, then measures the coastline of tidal data and wind data collection. From these data, an analysis was carried out to answer the objectives of this study. Based on the results of data analysis, it is obtained that the height of the breaking wave in the south direction (Hb) = 4.09 m, the southwest direction (Hb) = 1.546 m, the wavelength of the south direction (Lb) = 0.560 m, the wavelength from the southwest (Lb) = 0.539 m and the depth of the southward breaking wave (db) = 3.629 m, for the southwest (db) = 1.144. Changes in shoreline that occurred on Salobar beach in 10 years caused erosion of -14.76 m at the 4th level. Alternative treatments that can be used are seawall buildings and natural stones.Referensi
