Pavement Surface irrigation (surface irrigation) is applied in Indonesia because in the past the amount of agricultural land was still abundant, while the current condition is that the amount of air is decreasing. Irrigation systems that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of water use are a solution needed to keep land productive, one of which is a sprinkler irrigation system. This research aims to plan a sprinkler irrigation system for vegetable vegetables. in open land in the irrigation network in Waiheru Village, Baguala District, Ambon City, Maluku Province. Among them, to see the layout design of the transmitting irrigation network, the need for the capacity of the transmitting irrigation network, as well as a pump that is suitable for the planning of the transmitting irrigation system. This study must be structured systematically to conduct analysis in finding solutions to existing problems. Completion of the study was carried out by collecting data (topography, climatology, soil, plants). The results of the study showed that the water requirement of vegetable crops (ET correction) was 4,079 mm / day, maximum water depth 58.6 mm, gross irrigation depth 73.2 mm , for the irrigation interval is 15.13 days. Sprinkler debit resulting from the planning is 0.000437m3 / sec. With a sprinkler diameter of 6 mm, while the pressure is 1 bar, and for the resulting beam height 3,764 m. Transmission irrigation network with sprinkler spacing of 18 m, lateral distance of 18 m. The type of sprinkler used is the rotary ace sprinkler. The pipes used are PVC pipes with a diameter of 1 inch for the riser pipe, 4 inches for the lateral pipe and 6 inches for the main pipe. The big head pump in the transmitting irrigation network is 96.55 meters with the required power (BHP) of 0.308 kW. The type of pump planned is a submersed motor pump or submersible pump brand GRUNDFOS.Referensi
