Pindah Agama di Jemaat GPM Halong: Perspektif Teologi Agama-agama

Abstract
This study aims to find out and better explaination of the reality of religious conversions. This study uses a qualitative research method in the Congregation of GPM Halong. The result of this study indicates that people who change religions are often seen as people who make mistakes in their lives and because of that they do not deserve to be saved by Allah, because this act is considered a betrayal. On the contrary, as fellow religious people who believe that God is sovereign over His creation and salvation is a free right from Him, that is offered to human beings and/or all people, then God with His free right also offers salvation to those of other religions, and to those who change their religions.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan secara lebih baik tentang realitas pindah agama yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dalam Jemaat GPM Halong. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang-orang yang berpindah agama sering dipandang sebagai orang-orang yang melakukan kesalahan dalam hidupnya dan oleh karena itu mereka tidak layak diselamatkan oleh Allah sebab dianggap telah berkhianat. Hal ini justru harus dilihat dari pandangan bahwa sebagai sesama orang beragama yang meyakini Allah berdaulat atas ciptaan-Nya dan keselamatan merupakan hak bebas dari-Nya yang ditawarkan kepada manusia dan/ atau semua orang, maka Allah dengan hak bebas yang dimiliki-Nya juga menawarkan keselamatan kepada mereka yang beragama lain dan yang berpindah agama.
