PREFERENSI DAN BIAS PERILAKU ONLINE INVESTOR DI INDONESIA
Abstract
Abstract; Technology development in capital market is characterized by the existence of
online securities trading facility, which is known as online trading. The development of
online trading in Indonesia is no well developed as it is in US and Japan. This study
focuses on analyzing the characteristics of Indonesian online investor (n=34).
Employing descriptive statistic, univariate analysis dan logistic regression, it was
proved that: 1) Demographic characteristic: gender, marital status and investment
experience significantly influence online investor; 2) Investors preference: Online
investor preference capital gain, most of them are tolerant of risk and tend to choose
their own stock; 3) Behavioral Biases; online investors tend to perform behavioral bias
type self attribution and overconfidence.
