ANALISIS PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA PADA USAHA KECIL DI KOTA AMBON PERIODE 2011 - 2015

Abstrak

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the level of employment in small businesses and also to determine the effect of wage increases on employment in small businesses in the city of Ambon. Data collection is done at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Ambon City, the Department of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Ambon City, as well as 25 small enterprises as samples, which are scattered in five districts in the city of Ambon. The data collected were then analyzed using the elasticity of labor with a view to determine the level of employment in small businesses in the city of Ambon. The analysis showed that the coefficient of elasticity is more than one that is equal to 1.33. The coefficient of elasticity is greater than one, it means that the degree of elasticity of demand for labor in small businesses faster growth in wages and labor less relevant.
