PNEUMATOLOGI SEBAGAI DASAR HOSPITALITAS ANTAR AGAMA MENURUT AMOS YONG

Salah satu masalah klasik dalam diskursus teologi agama-agama yaitu sentralitas posisi Yesus Kristus. Tarik menarik antara partikularitas Yesus dan universalitas Kristus selalu menjadi dilema dalam merumuskan posisi teologis Kristen dalam konteks multi agama. Sebagai seorang teolog pentakostal, Amos Yong mengajukan pneumatologi sebagai jawaban atas kebutuan tersebut. Menurut Yong, peran Roh Kudus yang dinamis tidak sekedar menjawab kebuntuan kristologis tetapi juga menjadikan pendekatan teologi agama agamanya menjadi sangat trinitaris. Yong juga membahas praktik hospitalitas sebagai bentuk praksis dari pendekatan pneumatolginya. Bagi Yong, hospitalitas yang pneumatologis seperti dalam peristiwa pentakosta, menunjukan bahwa keramahan berada dalam banyak bahasa, banyak budaya, dan banyak praktik yang diinpirasi oleh Roh Allah. Bagi Yong, hospitalitas dapat menyatukan semua orang dan melintasi garis-garis agama.
