Abstract
The purpose of this article is to examine and develop ethical attitudes (manners) that should be demonstrated when facing God's blessings at the dinner table, particularly in the context of the Congregation of GPM Menara Kasih. The method used is qualitative research, centered on the church member's perspective with data collection techniques, namely: observation and interviews to obtain primary data. The results show that the dinner table is seen not only as a place to enjoy food (God's blessings), but also as a place for spiritual development, kinship, and education (advice). The attitude of not appreciating God's blessings is seen in behaviors such as eating while undressed, lifting the feet, or eating outside the dining table even though it has been provided. This study concludes that the attitude of appreciating God's blessings at the dinner table is manifested through good manners (dress and attitude), not lifting the feet, and the obligation to eat at the dining table. Unethical actions are considered not to reflect the face of God and show disrespect for others.
