Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication in another journal.
- All authors have read, approved, and made significant contributions to the manuscript.
- The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the official journal template and the latest author guidelines.
- The manuscript is written in proper academic English.
- The manuscript title is clear, concise, informative, and reflects the substance of the study.
- Citations and references follow the journal’s prescribed reference style, namely APA (American Psychological Association) Style, 7th Edition.
- At least 80% of the references are derived from primary sources published within the last 10 years.
- Authors have used reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or similar applications) to ensure citation consistency.
- The manuscript has undergone plagiarism screening and complies with the journal’s similarity index policy.
- Research involving humans or animals has obtained ethical approval from an authorized ethics committee, and the ethical clearance number has been stated in the manuscript.
- Authors have declared any conflict of interest and research funding sources.
- The manuscript file has been prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx).
- Authors understand that the editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s focus and publication standards.
Copyright Notice
Authors who publish with Karya Kesehatan Siwalima (KKS) agree to the following terms:
1. Copyright Ownership
Authors retain full copyright of their work without restrictions.
2. Open Access Policy
All articles published in KKS are made immediately available worldwide under an open access model. Readers are free to access, read, download, and share the content without financial, legal, or technical barriers.
3. Licensing (Creative Commons)
All articles are licensed under the
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
This license allows users to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use
Under the following condition:
- Attribution — Users must give appropriate credit to the authors and KKS, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
4. Author Rights (Reuse and Self-Archiving)
Authors have the right to:
- Deposit the published version of the article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms
- Share the article freely with proper citation
- Use the article in future works such as books, teaching materials, or presentations
KKS fully supports open dissemination and does not impose embargo periods.
5. Journal Rights
KKS is granted the right of first publication and the right to:
- Distribute and archive the article in databases, indexing services, and repositories
- Promote the article for academic and scientific purposes
6. Author Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that:
- The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere
- The work does not infringe any copyright or intellectual property rights
