Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Publication ethics in Karya Kesehatan Siwalima refers to the standards outlined in the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal is committed to maintaining integrity in scholarly publishing by ensuring transparency in handling allegations of misconduct, managing complaints and appeals, addressing conflicts of interest, ensuring ethical journal management, supporting data reproducibility, maintaining ethical oversight, and facilitating post-publication discussions.

Authorship and Contributorship

Authorship is limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All listed authors must take responsibility for the integrity of the work.

The corresponding author is responsible for managing all communication with the journal and ensuring that:

1. All co-authors have been properly included,

2. All co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript,

3. All co-authors agree to the submission and publication of the article.

Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria but have provided support (e.g., technical assistance, data collection, mentorship, or coordination) should be acknowledged in the acknowledgment section.

Plagiarism Policy

Karya Kesehatan Siwalima only accepts manuscripts that are original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration elsewhere.

All submitted manuscripts are screened using iThenticate to detect potential plagiarism. Any indication of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will be investigated and handled according to ethical publishing standards.
